How to eat cottage cheese and avoid digestive problems
In combination with milk and chicken eggs, cottage cheese can be difficult for the body to digest – this amount of protein is difficult for the body to absorb. Sweet curd or cheese sprinkled with sugar is also not very healthy, as sugar can impair calcium absorption.
Combining cottage cheese with meat or fish can lead to a high calorie content of the dish and “inconvenience” in the gastrointestinal tract. Coffee and tea should not be combined with cottage cheese because they contain substances that interfere with the absorption of calcium and other nutrients.
Doctors recommend eating cottage cheese before lunch, as dairy products stimulate insulin synthesis, increasing hunger, and insulin receptors are less sensitive in the morning than at other times of the day. Therefore, it is recommended to eat cottage cheese with vegetables for breakfast.
